This article will detail basic instructions on how to use the Verizon Games service on an Apple/Mac computer (using Apple Boot Camp).

  • NOTE: You will need a Valid Copy of Windows XP, Vista or 7.

1.  Download the latest firmware update from the Apple Download website and Mac OS X v10.4.6 (or later)

2. Create a Macintosh Drivers CD or DVD by running the Boot Camp Assistant

3. Create a new hard-disk partition to make room for Windows XP, Vista or 7 (minimum size 5GB)

  • NOTE: Make no changes to the original Mac partition and all its software or data

4. Insert your Windows XP, Vista or 7 CD and start the installation.  Select Partition C:\ and format the partition using either NTFS or FAT file formats

  • NOTE:  Though NTFS is securer than FAT, you won't be able to write or save files to the Windows volume from Mac OS X

5. Once the Windows XP, Vista or 7 install process is complete, Boot Camp will restart your system in Windows automatically

6. Install Mac Drivers from your Macintosh Drivers CD created in Step 2

7. Restart your computer

NOTE: We do not offer support for setting up your Apple/Mac computer to utilize Boot Camp.  If you experience any trouble or have any questions, please contact an Apple Representative or click HERE to view their support page for Apple Boot Camp.
